Lady's Night

Do you hear that?! No male requesting food, help, demands, or attention of any form. No pop up visitors. With my dad away for business checking out SWAT's new armored truck (I still do not understand why I could not join him on this trip and I was so jealous when I saw pics of the actual vehicle), it leaves me and my mom.

And you know what we did?! Absolutely nothing! Well, that's not completely true. We ate ice cream for dinner at 9:45 and just talked about things going on in our lives. I also managed to squeeze in some me time in the form of a LONGGGGGGGGGG shower which included shaving, waxing, and exfoliating. I feel all girly and shit.

With the rain heavily pouring, I enjoyed this night immensely. It may have been just what the doctor ordered.

The only downside of no men being around: I now have to put out the trash before I leave for work tomorrow. That is definitely a man's responsibility.
